Are you noticing anything different with your vehicle? If you know your vehicle very well, you will notice when something's not right, whether it's the tires, brakes, or lights. Sounds of squealing, metal against metal, or high-pitched screeching when you step on the brake pedal, are some of the first signs that a brake service, or possibly a more extensive brake repair will probably be necessary sooner rather than later. You may be wondering where the noises are coming from and what is making them.

Wheel alignment and wheel balancing are two totally different things, but many people often get them confused. To put it simply, wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. The purpose of these adjustments is maximum tire life and a vehicle that tracks straight and true when driving along a straight and level road. Wheel balancing, on the other hand, allows the tires and wheels to spin without causing any vibrations. This is accomplished by checking for any heavy spots on the wheel-tire combination and compensating for it by placing a measured lead weight on the opposite site of the wheel from where the heavy spot is.

Need Wheel Alignment or Wheel Balancing for your vehicle? Don’t get confused, ask your expert mechanic at your local Auto Repair Shop.

Have you thought about all the different kinds of belts that exist in your car or truck? They are easy to forget about until one of them unexpectedly snaps, leading to an untimely and costly car repair. Automotive belts, including serpentine belts and V-belts need regular truck or car service, and then eventual replacement. The belts in vehicles aren't that different than the belts that hold up trousers. They need to fit properly and stay in place, and if they break, sag, or wear out, they need to be replaced.
